There is a deeper way of living calling us back to the land.
A return to something real.
Plant For Change is rooted in a simple act. Start with a seed.
From this, something begins to reawaken and shift in each of us.
For generations, this simply was how life was. People grew their own food, saved and traded seeds, and passed down knowledge through families and communities in relationship to the land.
Over time, through disconnection and corporate overtake, our sacred ways of life began to fade.
Food and seed became altered, controlled and lost natural diversity, many of us lost touch with the rhythms of nature that we are part of and that sustain us.
Yet in pockets all around the world, these ways never disappeared. Stewards from every culture, continued to grow, share seed, protect the land and carry wisdom forward.
It is time on a larger scale we all begin planting again, learning and reconnecting with our seed, our food and our Earth, while building new systems of local trade and support.
Here To Inspire
To bring people and plants back into sacred relationship, one seed at a time.
To support growing food, saving seeds, nurturing the land and sharing abundance in ways that restore land and foster community care.
What This Looks Like
People planting seeds in backyards, balconies, shared spaces again.
Neighbors exchanging seed, food and growing knowledge.
Families restoring soil together and re-learning the rhythms of the land again.
Small gardens becoming sources of medicinal support, deep nourishment and healing.
Restoration, Resiliency, Reconnection,
Restoration, Resiliency, Reconnection,
Across The World
Quiet acts of care are weaving into something meaningful. Together, as we #plantforchange we are re-seeding our Earth, our homelands.
With every garden started, and every exchange of seeds we reconnect to our food, our culture and to one another.
Local resilience begins to return by these humble acts.
This is how connection is rebuilt. It begins where you are.
